Phillipsgold Pty Ltd is the consulting practice of Neil Phillips specialising in the geology of ore deposits, and geological mentoring of graduate and mid-career geologists.

Neil consults to the mineral industry and government especially in Australia, runs a long-term gold research program through the School of Earth Sciences at the University of Melbourne, and leads short courses on gold for students, postgraduates, government and industry.

He publishes regularly in international journals on gold deposits and their formation, and has developed several of the geological concepts that underpin gold exploration programs today.
